Chi Chi VS Urban Decay

We have all seen by now that the Chi Chi Cosmetics Nudes Eye Shadow Palette looks like an exact colour dupe for the Urban Decay Original Naked Palette. There are so many reviews online (here, here and here) so instead of adding to the pile I wanted to do something short, sweet and straight to the point.

I thought I would answer what I think are the two most important questions that you need to know the answers too.

1. Which one do I use more? and 2. Which one is easier to blend?

Yes price, pigmentation, how user friendly something is, are the colours exact dupes, is it readily available, etc are all excellent questions to ask. But I believe if I am going to recommend something, I want them to know I use it, and that you can blend it like a pro.

So, numero uno ("I said it in Spanish, how much clearer can I be?" little Fired Up reference to start the day never hurt anyone), I definitely use the Urban Decay Naked Palette more. I had the Chi Chi Nudes Palette a good year before I bought the Naked Palette so it definitely got some decent use, but since buying the Urban Decay one a few months back I haven't touched anything else.

Number two has a bit more depth to it. Blendability comes downs to personal preference I believe. Do you want a less pigmented shadow that requires more product to deepen the colour, or do you want a more pigmented shadow that only needs you to dip the brush in once to get the right colour. Both palettes are easy to blend, but I personally prefer starting off with a more pigmented shadow, which is definitely what you get when you use the Naked Palette. Don't get me wrong, Chi Chi shadows are fine to blend, but compared to Urban Decay they aren't very pigmented, so I find myself dipping the brush in the shadow three or more times to get the same shade.
