Priceline Maybelline Haul

Tuesday 7 July 2015

Yes that’s right. After months of waiting we finally have the new Maybelline products! Although I am still waiting for the Matte and Poreless powder, as well as the master studio primer and finishing spray, these have me quite content for the time being!

First is the Matte and Poreless foundation! Finally! Although I prefer a more dewy finish, I am excited to see if this foundation really does minimise the look of pores. I think the blue writing is cute and was a good design idea as now the original, dewy and smooth, and matte and poreless fit me foundaitons all have different coloured writing which really helps to quickly distinguish between the bottles. I got mine in the shades 115 and 110. I think 110 is a new additional lighter shade to the Australian Fit Me range atleast, as that shade hasn’t been previously available in the other fit me foundations or powders, or that I have been aware of at least.

Next thing to catch my eye is something I haven’t even seen in America yet, it is called the Master Sculpt contouring palette?! I have heard nothing about this on youtube and haven’t seen anyone blogging or instagraming about it, so I will definitely have to post a review when I have tried it out a couple of times. It is the same size as the fit me face powders for reference, and is two thirds a contour shade, and one third a light highlight that doesn’t look very glittery or shimmery, we will see how that one goes! I got mine in light/medium and there was also medium/dark available.

I have been patiently waiting for the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara to be released here, but now I am unsure if I should’ve bought it. The wand is very curved which I don’t usually like, and the formula does look a little wetter than what I prefer. But I can’t knock it until I try it! It may be one of those mascaras that gets better once it has had a little time to try out a bit. Either way I love the matte pearlescent pink packaging though, and we all know I am a sucker for packaging.

I was hoping the brow drama brow gel was going to coming out here in the blonde shade, which hasn’t happened yet unforutnaltey. But they have brought out the clear one! I am looking for a good brow gel since my Anastasia Beverly Hills ones ran out and I haven’t had a chance to make a big order from them yet. Hopefully this one is a good alternative in the mean time!

Next I picked up one lipstick from the Rebel Bloom collection. I am not a huge fan of bright coloured lipsticks which is the main focus of this collection, but I did pick up a nice mauvey nude shade which is called ‘Blushing Bud’. There is another nude as well but it is way too light for me!

Another product I haven’t heard about anywhere is the Color Molten eyeshadow duos. I picked one up in 300 nude rush and it looks really cute! I was thinking it may also be good for travel as the shade I bought it in has a nice matte warm brown crease shade, and a light shimmery pink lid shade, which is all I really do on my eyes for day to day wear! I believe there were around 8 different shades of these little duos.

Yet another product I haven’t heard of anywhere is the Baby Lips Candy Wow. From what I can see from the packaging, it is basically the normal baby lips but in a lip crayon form! I only got one shade to test it out, but there were 3 or 4 others available I may get if I like this one, the packaging is very pretty and girly on these swell.

Lastly is the Nudes eye shadow palette. With all the mixed reviews on YouTube I can’t wait to try this out for myself to form my own opinion!

Now, my question to you all is would you prefer individual reviews on these products, or would you prefer a big post with a small review of everything combined?

Let me know if you picked up anything from the new Maybelline products at Priceline!
