Shop and Box Review

I have always heard about shipping services, and especially beauty bloggers using them to get American makeup to Australia, but I had always palmed it off as being too expensive without really looking into it. But when Jaclyn Hill announced she was coming out with her Becca collaboration I knew I had to research it further. At the start it was only a Sephora exclusive (you can now pre order it from lipstick republic and ry) and I desperately wanted it. I didn’t really compare services, I just went with Shop and Box as I have heard good reviews about it.

So you can get can get a bit of a timeline of events. I made a ‘wish list’ on the website, and sent it off to a boxer. She received the wish list, confirmed the prices and made it available to purchase within 24 hours of me sending off the list. I paid on the 3rd of July, Jessica (my boxer) received the items on the 9th of July. That was when the second invoice was available to pay, which was for international tracked and express shipping. I paid that and I received my order next business day! So shipping is definitely 10/10!

Everything arrived extremely well packaged. It was all individually wrapped in bubble wrap and tissue paper, and there was even tissue paper inside the individual product boxes so there was no room for movement whilst it travelled.

I ended up paying 40 USD for shipping, which yes is a little pricey, but it arrived so fast and honestly some websites that ship to Australia from the US cost that much yet it takes a month for your package to arrive so I wasn’t overly bothered.

My boxer, Jessica, was very nice and helpful. There is a little messaging bit where you can chat to your boxer and ask them any questions you have. You get emailed when they respond so you don’t need to keep checking the website which is great.

Overall I am very happy with my experience and will definitely be using this service again!
